The 66th annual Sunnyside Rodeo took place Friday and Saturday night at the Sunnyside Arena.
This event was presented by the Grassy Trail Riding Club. This event started in the 1940’s and is still one of the biggest rodeos in Carbon and Emery counties. There were contestants from Colorado, Nevada, and Wyoming who participated.
This event drew large crowds from all around the state. This event included barrel racing, bull riding and chicken chasing.
“I like the rodeo getting bigger and bigger every year,” expressed event coordinator Linda Andrew, who has been in her position for 40 years. The rodeo also featured a dash for cash, mutton bustin’.
