Press Release

Several recent articles have focused on distracted driving, pedestrians right-of-way, drivers driving in oncoming traffic lanes and violations of school bus laws, to name a few. The next AARP Driver Safety Class, hosted by the Carbon County Senior Center on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., will address these topics as well as providing additional materials related to save driving for seniors.

Also, by completing this 4-hour class, participants will receive a certificate of completion to give to their auto insurance agent and receive a discount on their car insurance, which is good for three years. Cost of the class is $15 for AARP members and $20 for others. Contact the center at (435) 636-3202 to register.
