Accident Involving Three Semis and Two Passenger Vehicles Takes Place on SR-6 Near Green River

An accident that included three semis and two passenger vehicles occurred on  Highway 6 near Green River at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.

In that area, there is currently UDOT construction that had vehicles at a stand-still. The semi that caused the accident did not see that vehicles were stopped and drove into another semi, causing the domino-effect accident with the other vehicles previously listed.

At this time, the specific injuries of those involved have not been released. It is known that the driver of the semi that caused the accident was transported due to injuries obtained. Information has also been gathered that drug paraphernalia and alcohol were located in the semi that caused the accident. Whether or not this was the cause of the accident is under investigation.
