The American Rhythm Folk Ensemble gave a performance at the Price Civic Auditorium on Monday evening. The group of young dancers, singers and musicians from Utah delighted crowds throughout the evening, performing American folk pieces.

The Utah group aims to reflect the diverse American heritage with performances from hula to Charleston, hoedown to hip hop and Southern Waltz to Lindy Swing. The group also features championship cloggers along with a live band consisting of award-winning vocalists and musicians.

Earlier in the day, the group conducted various workshops for local youth. The American Rhythm Folk Ensemble taught vocal, song writing, swing dancing and clogging workshops.

The performance and workshops were made possible by Carbon County Recreation.
