Press Release

PRICE, Utah – The Utah State Eastern Spirit Squad will be having auditions for next year’s team this April.

Below is the information and schedule for the auditions for both the cheer and dance teams. Registration forms are located on the Spirit Squad team page on the Utah State Eastern Website or by clicking here.

Auditions for the Utah State Eastern Spirit Squad will be held April 7 and 8, 2017 for the Cheer Squad and April 22 for the Dance Team. Auditions are open to incoming freshman, transfer students and current Utah State Eastern students. A cumulative GPA of 2.0 minimum is required for eligibility to participate and must be maintained for membership. Members are required to be a full-time student and registered for at least 12 credit hours.

We are looking to select talented individuals that will best fit the USUE Spirit Squad program and represent USUE and its athletic department at a high standard. We will only consider individuals who are willing to work hard, take direction, and dedicate time and energy in building a successful program.

It is important to understand the amount of effort and time that is expected of members selected to be a part of the Spirit Squad. Each member will be required to attend every practice and all home games, including some away games. There will also be opportunities to serve and participate in community events. Being a member of the USUE Spirit Squad is a HUGE time commitment! Do not audition if you cannot commit your time and energy to this program.

Team Fees and Payments
Members selected will also be required to pay fees. Payment dates will be given once members are selected and must be paid in full by the start of fall semester. Scholarships will be given to those individuals that qualify.

Cheerleaders $350: Expenses will go towards equipment, clothing, camp, pictures, and outside choreography.
Dancers $650: Expenses will go towards equipment, clothing, costuming, camp, pictures, rental fees, outside choreography and much more.
