Lindsey Blanc scored a game-high 14 points to lead the Carbon Lady Dinos over the Pine View Panthers in the 3A third place game, 49-38, to conclude the season.
Sara Morley added 12 points and Chandelle Nichols chipped in six as the Lady Dinos ran away from a pesky Panther team. Carbon outscored Pine View 32-21 in the second half.
The game was played at Canyon View High School.
Carbon finishes the season with an outstanding 23-3 record, including a 7-1 mark in Region 12. Its 23 wins put it among the state’s leaders.
