ProRehab Physical Therapy has been in business for almost 15 years. Physical therapists Scott Labrum, Mike Gagon and Jeff Ohlwiler are partners in the business and provide physical therapy to their patients. They opened their first location in Price almost 15 years ago and the Castle Dale location opened 10 years ago.

Over the years, the trio has expanded and now have two locations in Price as well as one in Castle Dale, Vernal and Blanding. ProRehab employs seven physical therapists, which includes the three partners, one occupational therapist and three physical therapy assistants.

One of the seven physical therapists treat patients two days a week in East Carbon and Green River. ProRehab provides home health care and works with Rocky Mountain Care, Community Nursing Services and Symbii Home Health and Hospice to provide physical therapy to patients. In addition, they provide services at the Emery County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Ferron and have a joint venture with Parkdale Health and Rehab in Price.

ProRehab Physical Therapy is committed to providing the highest quality of care available for the treatment of painful conditions, recovery of function and injury prevention. Physical therapists are experts at treating movement and neuro-musculoskeletal disorders. Pain often accompanies a movement disorder, and physical therapists can help correct the disorder and relieve the pain.

Because physical therapists are experts in movement and function, they do not confine their talents to treating people who are ill. A large part of a physical therapist’s program is directed at preventing injury, loss of movement and even surgery. They work as consultants in industrial settings and also provide services to athletes to screen for potential problems and institute preventive exercise programs.

One of a physical therapist’s primary objectives is pain relief, which is frequently accomplished with hands on techniques. Some of the procedures Pro Rehab Physical Therapy use include ultrasound, electrical stimulations and heat or cold therapy. In addition to hands on care, physical therapists also educate patients to take care of themselves and to perform certain exercises on their own.

ProRehab Physical Therapy addresses many conditions including auto injuries and whiplash, scoliosis, neck pain, low back pain, sciatica, post-surgical rehabilitation, work related injuries, sports injuries, headaches, osteoporosis, arthritis and many more.
