Carbon County Emergency Services Director Jason Llewelyn was named the county’s employee of the month during a recent commission meeting. Llewelyn was presented with a plaque by Carbon County Human Resource Director Rose Barnes.
Newly elected sheriff Jeff Wood explained to commissioners that Llewelyn was deserving of the employee of the month award because of this hard work and dedication to the community. “He is often unrecognized for what he does,” Wood stated. “He is an awesome employee and I look forward to working with him.”
Llewelyn has been instrumental in coordinating emergency response and cleanup efforts during recent flooding events throughout Carbon County. Because of his exceptional work, he was presented with employee of the month honors.
