At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Price City officials were dispatched to a U.S. mail receptacle on the corner of 100 North and 400 East in Price where criminal activity had allegedly taken place.
It was found that 49-year old Carbon County resident John Joe had lit paper items on fire and placed them in the receptacle.
Joe was arrested and booked into the Carbon County Jail on a Class B Misdemeanor charge of arson.
