BEAR Press Release
The speaker for the general BEAR meeting on July 5 will be Carbon County Sheriff Jeff Wood. He will be speaking on crime in our area as well as the drug abuse and what is happening in each area.
This is a good opportunity for those from the area to see the programs, ask questions and express their opinions on how the sheriff’s office can better serve rural communities.
BEAR also asks all those in the area to continue to share over social media, through websites and through word of mouth the whereshouldilive.org website address so it can be rapidly spread throughout the nation. The website was recently released by the organization to recruit people to reside in Castle Country who can help our area move forward economically.
The July 5 presentation will take place at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center Alumni Room and it will start at 8 a.m. It will last about one hour. The public is welcome.
Light refreshments will be served.
