The Carbon Dinos ended their three-game losing streak Saturday night, beating the visiting Ben Lomond Scots 56-53.

The Dinos led for much of the game and led by as many as nine points in the first quarter. The Scots stormed back and kept within a couple of baskets the rest of the way. Carbon senior point guard Dakota Cisneros left in the third quarter with a cut over his right eye after colliding with a Ben Lomod player. Cisneros came back midway through the fourth with a bandage covering most of the eye.

Carbon beat Ben Lomond last year in Ogden 44-42 in double overtime. Jordan Blanc paced the Dinos in that game with 15 points and 13 boards.

Carbon (2-4, 0-0 Region 12) will take on Emery (4-1, 0-0 Region 15) on Friday at 7 p.m in Castle Dale. Catch the game live on ETV Channel 10.
