The highly-anticipated Castle Country Clash delighted spectators from far and wide over the weekend as Desert Thunder Raceway played host to the annual event.

The raceway boasts the title of being the fastest and largest dirt track west of Denver. Fans gathered to watch locals and visitors alike speed along the track, which measures 3/8 mile long and 80 feet wide.

For three days, those in attendance were treated to a variety of events. ICMA modified, hobby stocks and mini stocks were just some of the classes present at the Castle Country Clash.

“Wow, what a great racing weekend. Thank you everyone,” shared Harvey Howard, the race organizer. “So many people do so much; it is very humbling to have so many great friends.”
