In its pioneer tournament in Castle Dale, a total of ten teams signed up for the Summer Sidewalk Jamboree Horseshoe Tournament.
Cody Allen with teammate Chad Allen took the first place spot, while Justin Prettyman and Benji Gayler followed with second. Modge Cologie as well as Bob Beckstead rounded out the finishers in third place.
Those interested in trying their hand at horseshoes will have an opportunity at the Carbon County Fair’s tournament on Saturday, Aug. 13. They may sign up starting at 11 a.m. and the tournament will start at noon that same day.
