Castleview Hospital hosted a meet and greet luncheon for E. Doug Larsen, the new D.O. Internal Medicine Doctor, on Tuesday.

Dr. Larsen was raised in Roy, Utah and has three sisters and one brother. Ever since he was young, his dream was to become a doctor. Larsen first went to Weber State University, then did his medical school at Touro University Nevada and finished with his residency in Phoenix, Ariz. He also served an LDS mission in Lima, Peru.

Larsen is very family-oriented. His hobbies involve four wheeling, Nascar, camping, fishing and hunting with his family, including his wife and two children. After living in Nevada and Phoenix, Larsen and his family wanted to move to a smaller city, so they chose Price. Now, Larsen will be specializing in internal medicine and will provide long-term, comprehensive care and manage complex illness of adolescents, adults and the elderly. He will also provide care for routine and chronic medical problems as well as the diagnosis and treatment of new medical problems.
