Canyon View and San Rafael Middle Schools recently performed their annual Christmas choir concert at Emery High School. Mr. Ben Carroll and Mr. David Bird joined in conducting nearly 200 students for the concert.
Sixth grade boys and girls combined to sing “Sing We All Noel,” “Choc’late In My Stocking,” ”All I Want To Christmas” and “Believe.” Mr. Carroll accompanied on the flute and Jennifer Fauver on the piano.
The seventh grade boys and girls sang “Little Babe” and “Inn Keeper.” The eighth grade choir followed with “Behold a Tiny Baby,” “Troika” and “Hallelujah.” The final performances were by the combined seventh and eighth grade choirs who sang “Madrigal of the Bells,” accompanied on the chimes by Kadrianne Bird. With the auditorium darkened and lights in each student’s hand, the finale was “All Around the World Tonight.”
