PCDC Press Release

On Friday, the Price City Police Department began investigating a complaint of Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult, Theft and Forgery. The alleged victim is an 87-year-old Price resident receiving daily in-home certified nurse’s assistant services. The victim alleged the assigned nurse’s assistant had stolen checks, forged them and cashed them at local retail businesses.

On Monday, Officer Parker then contacted and interviewed the alleged suspect in the case, Jenile Lynn Tolley, DOB 11/4/1980, of Price. After Miranda warnings, Tolley allegedly acknowledged responsibility for the incident and was cooperative with the investigation. The value of the forged checks allegedly exceeds $500. An undisclosed amount of cash is still at issue.
