Monday marked the grand opening of Price’s new Tangerine Eatery on Main Street. The business celebrated the momentous day with a ribbon cutting ceremony and special treats for customers.

The Tangerine Eatery is the brainchild of Justin Krompel and his father, Rick. The duo have hammered through the project for the past two years, designing the menus and restaurant space to create a pleasurable dining experience. After much hard work and dedication, the restaurant welcomed its first customer on May 14.

“I just want to thank everybody that supported this project,” Justin said. “I think it is going to be a great, new, modern-style dining for Price.”

Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, Tangerine Eatery brings a fresh and nutritious spin to sandwiches, soups, wraps, salads and more. The menu also boosts kids’ favorites such as grilled cheese, peanut butter and honey sandwiches, and macaroni and cheese.

A favorite of many that visit the restaurant are the frozen yogurt offerings. With 12 flavors at any given time, diners can experience plenty of variety as the offerings rotate on a continual basis. Those who attended the grand opening received a special treat as Tangerine Eatery offered free frozen yogurt for the day.

Tangerine Eatery is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Diners can find the restaurant at 700 East Main Street in Price.
