Coming off a win against Union on Thursday, the Lady Dinos were narrowly edged out by Providence Hall in a Region 14 matchup on Tuesday.
The Dinos got out to an early lead in the game in Herriman, taking a 1-0 advantage into the break. Providence Hall responded with three goals in the second, holding Carbon to just one more, to take the 3-2 win. Kylie Ferguson of Providence Hall was dominating in the game, scoring all three goals to lead her team to victory.
Carbon (6-4, 5-3 Region 14) will look to rebound on Thursday as the team hosts Maeser Prep (4-4, 3-4 Region 14) in Price. The Lady Dinos bested Maser 3-1 back in August. Kickoff for Thursday’s matchup is slated for 4 p.m.
