Doctor E. Doug Larsen Welcomed to Castleview Hospital

Employees at Castleview Hospital welcomed E. Doug Larsen, DO to the community and the hospital at an open house on Tuesday.

Dr. Larsen, who specializes in internal medicine, attended Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, Nev. where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his under grad at Weber State University in Ogden where he received his bachelor of science in microbiology. Dr. Larsen has also completed his residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, in Phoenix, Ariz.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Larsen to our community,” said Castleview Hospital CEO Mark Holyoak. “We are so fortunate to have a physician with his caliber and expertise.”

Dr. Larsen specializes in internal medicine and will provide long-term, comprehensive care and manage complex illness of adolescents, adults and the elderly. He will provide care for routine and chronic medical problems as well as diagnosis and treat new medical problems. Dr. Larsen provides services for acute care, asthma, diabetes management, high cholesterol, hypertension, skin biopsies and wart removal.

“As a physician, I am happy to be starting a practice to serve the people of Price and the surrounding community,” said Dr. Larsen. “I enjoy taking care of patients with multiple medical problems and also helping patients improve their overall health.”

Dr. Larsen was born in Roy, Utah and is joining Castleview Hospital in Price with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he and his family enjoy fly fishing, camping and hunting.
