Ten shots from downtown, including nine from Cade Brazier and Tyler Butler, propelled the Emery Spartans to a win over host Grantsville on Wednesday night, 76-67.
Brazier and Butler led the Spartans throughout the night, combining for 45 points. The team boasted its most impressive showing in the third, outshooting Grantsville 24-14.
Kyson Stilson was the other Spartan in double figures, chipping in 13. Brax Jensen, who made the team’s other trey, Easton Gordon and Kyler Wilstead all made buckets for the traveling Emery squad.
The Spartans will break for Christmas before returning to the court on Dec. 29 as they travel to Union for a 7 p.m. tip.
