Deputy Doug Downard retired on Tuesday after over 30 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Emery County.
Deputy Downard started his career at Emery County Sheriff’s Office in January 1985 working at the county jail. He later transferred to patrol where he worked until his retirement. He spent the past several years working in Green River.
“Thanks for your service Doug and enjoy your retirement,” the sheriff’s office shared.
