In a public meeting Thursday evening, a voting process was enacted to elect a successor to Keith Brady’s vacant Emery County Commission seat. Brady recently resigned from the commission to accept a position elsewhere, leaving 13 people vying for his seat.
The candidates were Tracy Addley, Travis Bacon, Derek Beagley, Kirk Christiansen, Gil Conover, Jim Fauver, Tom Grimm, Delynn Fielding, Hilary Gordon, Randy Johnson, Russ Larsen, Les Wilberg and Kent Wilson.
In an election, Kent Wilson of Orangeville was voted into the position.
