Emery traveled to Moab on Tuesday night for a region matchup. The sophomore team won, but the junior varsity and varsity both faced tough loses.
The Lady Spartans on the varsity team notched a win in the first game 25-20. The team then fell short in the second 25-22 before dropping the third and fourth matches 25-18 and 25-20, respectively, leaving Grand with the 3-1 win.
The Lady Spartans will next gear up for a JV and varsity tournament on Friday and Saturday in Richfield.
