Sixth grade band students from Castle Dale Elementary, Cottonwood Elementary and Ferron Elementary as well as the Emery High school symphonic band students entertained family and friends Tuesday evening at Emery High for their annual holiday concert.
Director Ben Carroll led the sixth grade bands in the “First Christmas Suite” arranged by Mike Hannickel. Songs in the suite included “Good King Wenceslas,” “Oh Come Little Children” and “Jolly Old St. Boogey-Claus.”
Carroll then led the Emery High symphonic band in “Christmas Rhapsody” by Newell H. Long, “Mary’s Boy Child” arranged by Philip Sparke, “Christmas Presence” with a percussion feature arranged by Chris Brooks and “Sleigh Ride” by Leroy Anderson.
