Students, faculty, family and friends gathered Thursday evening in the school’s auditorium for the 2016 commencement ceremonies for the graduating class of Emery High School.
Speeches were given by Ashilee Byington, Shem Guymon, Alexa Cook, Travis Fehlberg, Ethan Shorthill and Camrey Johnson, who was the valedictorian for the 2016 class. Outgoing principal Larry Davis then concluded the speeches. He will begin his tenure as Emery School District superintendent beginning July 1.
