The Emery volleyball team hosted South Sevier on Thursday for a region matchup. The team ultimately fell 3-0.
The teams kept the sets close throughout the game. The Lady Spartans came out strong and barely fell in the first set, 25-22. Their momentum died down in the second, falling 25-19.
Emery fought back in the third and final set, playing for a comeback. They lost 25-23.
Emery will host San Juan at home on Tuesday. Varsity is slated to begin play at 6:30 p.m.
