Ten Emery High Spartans travelled to Provo to participate in the BYU Invitational over the weekend.
The girl’s 4×100 team of Catherine Dyer, В Hailee Rogers, В Jessica Guymon, and Blayr Jeffs ran a state qualifying time of 51.41. Blayr Jeffs also ran a 13.46 in the 100-meter sprint.
Scott Jackson ran the 400-meter in an unofficial time of 55 seconds, and his 100-meter sprint in 12.29. В Spencer Fehlberg ran the 800-meter in 2.05.71.
In field events Blayr Jeffs had a long jump score of 16’ 04”, placing 12th of 71 participants. Hannah Dyer threw a 28’ 02” in shot put.  Whitney Withers threw the shot for 27’ 04”. For the boy’s high jump, Eli Oliverson jumped 5’ 6.25”.
The Spartans travel to Juab for their Region meet on Tuesday.
