Canyon View and San Rafael middle schools, along Emery High combined choirs, presented their fall concert to an overflowing crowd at the Emery High auditorium on Monday. Mr. Carroll and Mr. Bird alternated as conductors, helping many students to present an evening of exceptional vocal music.

The combined sixth grade choirs from San Rafael and Canyon View middle schools sang four numbers to open the program. They were followed by the seventh grade combined choirs. Students from both the seventh and eighth grade choirs more than filled the risers on the stage as the students sang a variety of numbers. The eighth grade choir was then followed by the Emery High concert and chamber choirs.

The high school concert choir performed three pieces. Dadrianna Bird accompanied the choir for one of the numbers. Next, as the chamber choir performed, Italian exchange student Elena De Nard was a featured soloist, Cory Eden accompanied the choir with his French horn and Jesse Braun added thunder and rain sounds to the final number.
