Press Release

The Carbon/Emery Family to Family Network hosted an Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday . “Kids of all ages” with disabilities and their siblings were invited. Over 100 participants were able to enjoy a variety of activities as well as collecting eggs. The hunt was divided into age groups and had a section prepared for mobility needs. The children were able to enjoy face painting, storytelling, pictures with the Easter bunny and balloon animals from Lola the clown.

Many in our community helped make this event successful. Castle Valley Center provided the facilities and many of the staff donated their time to help with the hunt. Pezcuh Printing printed the posters and flyers. Smith’s Food and Drug, Walmart, Stewarts and Trails End Realty (Janet Roberts) donated towards candy and prizes. The local newspapers and radio stations helped advertise the event. Lola the clown and the Easter Bunny spent the morning putting a smile on the children’s faces. Many volunteers from the community helped prepare and put on this event. A big thank you to everyone for their help.
