Food for Thought: Homegrown Foods

We are pleased to be serving high quality, homegrown meats on our sandwiches at school lunch. The USDA has a food distribution program that serves public schools across the nation, which makes this all possible. The program’s mission is to strengthen the nation’s nutrition “safety net” by providing nutrition assistance to school children while also supporting American agriculture.

They do this by distributing high quality, 100% American-grown USDA foods. Students are loving our smoked turkey ham. It’s produced from the tender and healthy turkey thigh meat but tastes like a delicious slice of ham. As often as possible, we are committed to serving the best US grown and produced foods.
