Cleveland native and former cross country Lady Spartan Erin Hurst was recently added to the Pacific West Conference Academic All-Conference list. Hurst currently attends Dixie State University where she has continued to perform well on the university’s cross country team.
The Emery County native is one of 11 girls on the Trailblazer’s cross country team to receive this academic recognition.
While attending Emery High School, Hurst received four top five finishes in a row during her participation in the state cross country championship.
Hurst finished her first full year at Dixie State University and earned an accumulative grade-point-average of 3.89. The young athlete will continue her cross country legacy with the Trailblazers beginning this fall.
