Free Summer Meals Available for Emery County Children 18 and Under

Emery School District is sponsoring a summer lunch program for children. The sites & serving times will be as follows:

Castle Dale Elementary Cafeteria  195 E. 600 N. Castle Dale, Utah, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Ferron Elementary Cafeteria  100 West Mill Rd. Ferron , 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Huntington Elementary Cafeteria  70 E. 1st. N. Huntington, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Book Cliff Elementary Cafeteria  205 S. Solomon St. Green River, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

All sites will operate beginning June 6 and feed children Monday through Friday until July 22, except July 4th  Meals to children are free. Adults who accompany children to the sites may eat for $ 4.00. When all children have been served, other adults may purchase a remaining meals for $4. Adults are not allowed to eat off the child’s tray by Federal law. Meal service will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at all four sites; no meals can be served outside of our time frame and no meals can leave the site. Children should clean up after themselves and follow the adult supervisor’s directions. Funding for this program is provided by the US Dept. of Agriculture from Import taxes on foods from other countries. No other activities, such as day care or other child supervision, will be available at the feeding locations.

Meals are free for all children 18 years and under.
