Gagon Family Medicine’s new location in Huntington, an extension of the office in Price, welcomed its first patient in early October. The team at the new location then welcomed the entire community to tour the facility during an open house and ribbon cutting on Wednesday.

Hosted by the Emery County Business Chamber, the ribbon cutting marked Gagon Family Medicine’s commitment to better serve patients throughout Emery County. Many staff members, family, friends and chamber members were present for the cutting.

The new space in Huntington comes from the purchase of a building on Huntington’s Main Street. The building offers 7,400 square feet to work with, which was converted to offer nine exams rooms as well as an x-ray room, on-site lab and a highly-anticipated drive-thru pharmacy.

New and existing patients are welcome to the Huntington branch Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patients can expect to see the same providers they have known at the Price office, just in a convenient Emery County location.

“Our goal is to provide the very best care we possibly can and to make it seamless between locations,” said Gina Gagon, Practice Administrator

This seamless approach will be made possible by medical providers and staff that will work between both locations. The current providers will travel between Carbon and Emery counties to offer services to residents.

“Medical records will be available in both locations,” Gagon said. “Patients will receive the exact same service in Huntington as they do in Price. Patients can also be seen at both locations depending on their wants and needs.”
