The King’s League recently kicked off the season with its first pre-season game.
The Green Team, sponsored by JB’s, took on the Black Team, sponsored by Boxcar Gallery in Helper. While the teams were grinding, they found themselves tied, 18-18, at the half.

Green Team player Elijah Griffin then exploded in second half, scoring 32 points in the game with help from Jonathan Kessler, who dished out an impressive 16 assists. The Green Team took the win, 48-26.

“I am so proud of these young men and what they have became on and off of the court,” said coach Anthony Campbell. “I will enjoy years to come coaching with these kids, and would like to personally thank their wonderful parents for raising such admirable children.”
