The race is over and the numbers are now official for the positions of city council members and mayor in Helper City. Coming out on top with 352 votes, Lenise Peterman will be welcomed at the beginning of the 2018 year as Helper City’s new mayor. In the run to be re-elected as mayor, Edward Chavez received 173 votes.
Helper City Council will also welcome two new members. Malarie Matsuda received 328 votes while Donna Archuleta received 260. Gary Harwood and Tim Riley received 211 and 194, respectively.
