Helper City Police Department Press Release

On May 25, 2017, at approximately 8:10 a.m., a Helper City Police Department officer responded to the area of D. Street in Helper City following the report of a dog that had passed away under suspicious circumstances. The animal was transported by the owner to a local veterinarian who located a pellet in the heart of the dog.

The dog, Jazman, a six-year-old red heeler, was in a fenced enclosure in its own yard at the time, which made this a targeted attack.

At the present time, the Helper City Police are actively investigating this case but have no credible leads. They are requesting that anyone with information regarding this incident contact the Helper City Police Department at (435) 472-3719 or email any information to policetips@helpercity.net.
