This week boasts a full slate of local high school basketball action, including two live broadcasts on ETV Channel 10, as local teams begin to their preseason campaigns.
This week’s featured games live on ETV Channel 10 will be Emery boys vs. Wasatch Academy at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Emery girls vs. Carbon at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Two other clashes between local teams include the Grand Girls hosting Green River on Tuesday at 7 p.m. and the Pinnacle girls visiting Grand at 7 p.m. Friday.
The Emery High Lady Spartans and both the Green River boys and girls teams have already played games this young season. Emery cruised to a 47-37 win over Enterprise. Green River’s boys dropped a 69-61 decision at Tabiona.
The Green River Lady Pirates split a pair of games at the 1A Preview as they bested Panguitch 36-26 and fell to Bryce Valley 42-35.
Pinnacle’s girls team currently sits at 3-1 after defeating El Capitan, Ariz., Liahona and Dugway. The team’s only loss came in a 56-45 contest against Escalante.
