Huntington City concluded its weekend-long Heritage Days celebration with a variety of events Monday.

The day started with the annual 5k, 10k and half-marathon runs down Huntington Canyon.

The runs were followed by a series of parades including the kid’s bike parade, a horse parade and the main parade.

Some of the floats included Huntington City Council, Huntington Youth City Council, Emery Telcom, Emery County Democratic party, Emery County Republican party, Emery High School Marching Band, Emery High School Drill Team, Emery High School Cheer Squad, Canyon View Jr. High Cheer Squad, Peach Day’s Royalty, and Cleveland Day’s Royalty.

The fair featuring food and craft vendors, blow up toys and various entertainers continued after the parade. The fair was cut short by a cloudburst that scattered the crowd in the late afternoon.

The celebration concluded with fireworks at dusk.
