In-House Physician Brings Expertise to Emery County Care and Rehab

An in-house physician brings expertise, treatment and exceptional care to Emery County Care and Rehabilitation patients and residents. Dr. E. Doug Larsen of Pine Top Medical completes rounds once weekly and is on call for the facility 24 hours per day, seven days per weeks.

Dr. Larsen attended Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, Nev. where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Larsen completed his under grad at Weber State University in Ogden where he received his bachelor of science in microbiology. Dr. Larsen has also completed his residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, in Phoenix, Ariz.

Dr. Larsen specializes in internal medicine and provides long-term, comprehensive care and manages complex illness of adolescents, adults and the elderly. Dr. Larsen provides care for routine and chronic medical problems as well as the diagnosis and treatment of new medical problems. Some of the many services provided by Dr. Larsen include acute care, asthma, diabetes management, high cholesterol, hypertension, skin biopsies and wart removal.

Dr. Larsen was born in Roy, Utah and now lives in Price with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he and his family enjoy fly fishing, camping and hunting.
