In ETV 10 Newspaper on July 11, the featured Castle Country landmark was the San Rafael Swinging Bridge.

This famous Castle Country landmark can be reached by traveling on the Buckhorn Wash Road or the Cottonwood Wash Road.

The 160-foot suspension bridge was created in 1937 by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The Swinging Bridge was the only bridge that sat above the river until the early 1990s.

Today, the bridge is still perfectly safe to walk on but can no longer withstand a motorized vehicle.
