Join TougHer Gym to Honor Veterans With Sweat for Vets

Sweat for Vets is a fitness competition that raises money to donate to veteran charities in need. The competition consists of five events each lasting 60 seconds with a 60 second rest between each event. The events are: TRX Atomic Push Ups, Box Jumps, Plank Up Downs, Kettlebell Thrusters, and Hanging Leg Raises.

The categories for this event are:
Male 13-17
Female 13-17
Male 18-54
Female 18-54
Male 55+
Female 55+
Couples 13+

During the event, each competitor will complete as many repetitions as possible during the 60-second work interval. The total repetitions for each event are added together to get the competitor’s final score. You may rest as much or as often as you wish on any event, but the more you rest the fewer repetitions you can get. In the event of a tie, there is a secret tie-breaker event.

All proceeds from this event are donated to veterans causes. This year, tougHER is teaming up with Matsuda Acupuncture to offer holistic care as an alternative to medications. Opioid addiction and suicide is high among the veteran population and both are avoidable. Let’s work together to create funding for alternative therapies for vets that treat real problems and not just symptoms.
