The Carbon Lady Dinos finished just shy of 70 points ahead of host Uintah Friday afternoon at the Big Red Eastern Utah Championship in Vernal.
Carbon tallied 172 points to Uintah’s 103. The boys finished in third place, behind Uintah and Union.
The Dinos placed first in numerous events, which included:
Carson Frame, first in 110-meter hurdles. Shannon Baker, first in 400 meters. Makenna Blanc, first in 800 meters. Regan Hanson, first in 3200 meters. Girls’ and Boys’ 4×400 teams, first. Jodi Noyes, first in shot put. Emma Christensen, first in high jump. Derek Hillam, first in long jump.
Carbon also finished with five, second place finishes while seven athletes place in third.

Carbon participated in Nephi on Monday afternoon, making up a meet that was snowed out a couple of weeks back. The team will then participate in the BYU Invitational on Friday in Provo.
