The Carbon Lady Dinos lost two games Wednesday evening at Utah Valley University at the 3A State Playoffs, ending their otherwise successful season.
The #2-seeded Lady Dinos faced off against Dixie to kick off the tournament and fell in four sets, 19-25, 25-22, 15-25 and 22-25, sending them to the loser’s bracket.
There, Carbon took on Park City, a team the Dinos swept 3-0 back on Sept. 1. The end result was drastically different in Orem as Park City beat Carbon in five sets.
The Lady Dinos finished the season winners of 14 games, including a 6-2 mark in Region 12 play.
