After suffering their only Region 12 loss on the season to Richfield back on Jan. 19, the Carbon Lady Dinos repaid the favor in Richfield on Tuesday night, beating the pesky Lady Wildcats 41-37.
Lindsey Blanc scored a game-high 16 points on 4-10 from the field. She shot 88% (7-8) from the free throw line. She also added four assists and two steals. Sara Morley pulled down six boards and chipped in 12 points. Morgan Hillam had a solid game with six points and seven rebounds.
The Lady Dinos were on point defensively, holding the Wildcats to just 37 points, the second fewest scored by Richfield in a game all season. Richfield shot just 27% (12-44) for the game.
Carbon (18-2, 5-1 Region 12, #5 in 3A) will travel with the Carbon boys to Canyon View (2-16, 1-4 Region 12) on Friday.
