The Lady Spartans bounced back from the defeat, however, taking a 51-35 victory Tuesday night against North Sanpete.
Ending the first quarter with a 15-11 lead, Emery continued their dominance in the second, ending the first half 28-14.
Coming back strong in the third, Emery put up 14 more en route to the overall victory.
Megan Jensen led the black and gold Tuesday with 13 points overall while Lainee Jensen put in her fair share of 12 points, all of which came from the three-point line.
Kinlee Toomer and Kacelyn Toomer each had two three-points shots apiece, managing 10 and eight points, respectively.
The next round of action for the Lady Spartans will come on Thursday as the team hosts Richfield. Action is slated to begin at seven that evening.
