On Tuesday night the Emery Lady Spartans hosted the Gunnison Bulldogs on their senior night.
Before the varsity game the seniors and their parents went down on the floor to be recognized. This year, there are six seniors, Aniston Curtis, Skyler Sitterud, Jessica Mason, Camrey Johnson, Jessica Olsen, and Bayler Griffen.
The sophomore team won but junior varsity lost.
The first game of varsity, Gunnison pulled through 26-24, and Emery fought back and won the next three games 25-18, 25-21 and 25-17.
Between the second and third games, a serving contest was hosted for everyone. In order to win a t-shirt the ball had to land on one of the shirts after serving.
Emery will travel to San Juan to play the Broncos on Thursday for its last region game of the season.
