Earning at least a share of the Region 12 Championship Thursday night with a win over San Juan, the Emery Spartans awaited the final score of the North Sevier/San Juan game Friday night to determine playoff seeding.
After the Wolves beat the Broncos 70-45, Emery and North Sevier faced a coin flip to determine playoff seeding in next week’s 2A first round at Orem High School. The flip took place after the Emery/San Juan boys game in Castle Dale Friday night with the Lady Spartans losing the flip.
