The hopes of a state title were dashed for the Lady Spartans on Saturday as the team was shut out by Judge Memorial.
During the road matchup, Emery struggling to find the back of the net, blanking in the first half. Judge netted two goals in the first to take the lead at the break.
Emery’s woes continued into the second half as Judge added to more to take the win, 4-0.
The Spartans finish the year with a 9-5 record overall, including a 4-3 bout in Region 15 play.
