Local Athletes Garner All-State Honors

The Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News each compile All-State teams every year for most team sports, and several local athletes were named to the 2011 baseball and softball teams.

Of the 12 athletes from Carbon and Emery high schools that were selected, only Emery’s MarKette Tanner earned First Team honors in both publications.
