The week of May 2-6 was known as teacher appreciation week.
A number of local schools honored teachers that work tirelessly with various activities.
Castle Heights and Wellington elementary schools both thanked their teachers by having a group of massage therapists come to their schools and give the teachers massages.
Bruin Point Elementary had a few various activities for their teachers to enjoy such as a pot-luck.
